I was a top producing sales rep for 18 years. When the companies I worked for kept changing my comp plan to make me run on the hamster wheel faster to make the same, I wanted to make a change.
I bought my first foreclosure property in 2013. I got cold feet and almost backed out the night before closing. I would have lost $5,000, but instead made a profit of $27,000 on my first flip!

I then spent most of my free time learning how to invest by using free resources and paid mentors.  

At the end of 2018, I had 30 rental units.  I couldn't balance my day job and my real estate passion any longer, so I resigned from my career in sales.  Since then, I have built a real estate investment firm with over $40 million of assets under management, 630 units owned, 50 houses flipped and over $20 million in hard money loans originated .  Our vertically integrated organization flips, holds rentals, manages properties, renovates properties and lends hard money to other experienced investors.
